(MEd, PGDipChFamPsyc)

I am a parent to a person and a pet, with life experience of neurodiversity, fostering, and the joys and challenges of both.
I am also a registered Child and Family Psychologist with experience supporting children, teens, adults and their families across an wide range of challenges and presentations. I have been working as a Psychologist since 2020, providing therapy and assessments for people experiencing diverse social, emotional and developmental challenges.
I work in a positive, empathetic and strenghts based manner, supporting people to move closer to the things they feel are important.
My experience with young children sets me apart, offering play therapy for children under 8. I also offer therapy and support for older children, supporting parents and children to meet their goals and make meaningful change. At times support involves working with parents and children together, to strengthen realtionships and deepen connection.
I use a range of therapies to provide support which meets the needs of those I work with. Therapy is informed by DDP, PACE, DBT, PCIT, and also takes into account current life realities. It is underpinned by a neuroaffirming and trauma informed approach to therapy. Regardless of what approach is used, it is targeted to meet the needs of families I see.
I am a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society, and undertake supervision and professional development, as is expected.
